How the functions fit together

Investment teams are divided by strategy, handling opportunity evaluation and transaction execution. Research provides independent, systematic analysis that underpins investment judgment. Portfolio operations works with portfolio-company management through the holding period, focused on improving operating quality. Corporate functions span finance, legal and compliance, and risk management, keeping the firm's overall operations sound. The four areas are not arranged in a strict hierarchy; they hand off to one another continuously around each specific investment.

Each function lead reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and day-to-day coordination runs through the investment committee and regular cross-functional meetings, keeping investment judgment, risk views and capital arrangements aligned across functions rather than operating in isolation from one another.
