Havrion Capital announced the completion of a technology investment in Lanrui Robotics — the first new investment executed under the firm's own name. Lanrui Robotics supplies fleets of autonomous mobile robots paired with orchestration software, working as a systems integrator for warehouse and factory automation.

Havrion Capital announced today that it has completed a technology investment in Lanrui Robotics. The transaction is the first new investment executed under Havrion Capital's own name, distinct from the holdings transferred from the Group's existing portfolio, and marks the point at which the firm's investment activity moves into independent sourcing and execution.

About Lanrui Robotics

Lanrui Robotics, headquartered in Shenzhen, supplies fleets of autonomous mobile robots paired with orchestration software, delivering the two as one system rather than selling robot hardware and software licenses separately. Its customer base was initially concentrated among third-party logistics warehouse operators, and has extended in recent years into intralogistics inside manufacturing plants, a setting that demands more from the software's real-time responsiveness and requires precise synchronization with production takt time.

Investment rationale

The central question in evaluating the opportunity was whether the integrated hardware-and-software delivery model could carry proven capability into a more complex manufacturing setting. Differentiation at the hardware level is narrowing; what determines a project's success is the stability of orchestration software under complex conditions and the delivery team's field-engineering competence — an orientation that weighs organizational capability over any single specification.

This company has already proven one thing in warehousing: delivering software and hardware together is considerably harder than selling robots alone, and considerably harder to copy. What we needed to establish was whether that capability could carry over intact onto a manufacturing shop floor, where there is much less room for error.
